I don't know what you do right now dear sister for making money and providing for yourself, but I was shown visions of a Post Office? I saw letters and packages all around you. This could be a passion of yours or a place where you currently work or have worked before. Interpreting visions is the hardest part to perfect in the prophetic.
I just feel there is more to what I have been shown and the Lord is saying to begin looking for a job/career that will bring the "Independence" your word above spoke about. I see you one day owning your own business or being independent in making your own money.

Wow Brother Steven, that word is spot on. I currently work at the post office, as you saw in your vision, going on 15 years now. This confirms other prophetic words I’ve received in the past about entrepreneurship. Holy Spirit has not yet pushed me in that direction or given me any specific ideas or desires for a particular business just yet, but it’s exciting to see the confirmation that I will indeed be an entrepreneur!
